This directory was developed starting in 2023 as part of the Northeast USDA Regional Food Business Center, a USDA-funded initiative supported through a collaboration among Buffalo Go Green, the Cornell Center for Regional Economic Advancement, the NASDA Foundation, the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, and the Maine Department of Agriculture Conservation & Forestry and transitioned to Cornell Small Farms when funding for the USDA Regional Food Business Centers was terminated in 2025.
