By submitting a listing to the Cornell Small Farms Program (CSFP) directory, you (“Submitter”) agree to the following terms:
1. Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted — including but not limited to your organization’s name, description, contact details, website, and social media links — is accurate, current, and kept up to date. CSFP may periodically prompt you to confirm or update your listing, and listings that are not reconfirmed within the required timeframe may be automatically hidden from the directory.
2. Content Guidelines
Submitted content must:
- Be relevant to small farms, agriculture, or related services in the region served by CSFP
- Be professional and appropriate in tone and language (e.g., no excessive capitalization, profanity, or inflammatory language)
- Not contain spam, promotional material unrelated to your listing, or misleading claims
- Not infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
3. No Endorsement / Not Representative of CSFP
Inclusion in the directory does not constitute an endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with Cornell Small Farms Program or Cornell University. Content submitted by listing owners reflects the views of the submitter alone and does not represent the views, positions, or opinions of CSFP.
4. Review and Editorial Rights
CSFP reserves the right to review, edit, decline, or remove any listing at its sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice, including (but not limited to) listings that:
- Violate these terms
- Contain broken links, outdated information, or inactive contact details
- Are reported as inaccurate, inappropriate, or fraudulent
While CSFP maintains an approval process, CSFP does not guarantee that it will catch every issue with submitted or edited content in a timely manner, and is not liable for content that a user submits or edits within their own listing.
5. Account Responsibility
Submitting or managing a listing requires a website account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe someone else should manage a listing on behalf of your organization, please contact CSFP to request a change.
6. Removal of Listings
CSFP may remove or hide any listing at any time, including (but not limited to) listings that are expired, contain broken links, are inactive, or are found to be non-compliant with these terms. Removed or hidden listings are not necessarily deleted and may be reinstated upon review and confirmation that the listing is accurate and active.
7. No Warranty
The directory is provided as a free service to help connect visitors with relevant organizations and service providers. CSFP makes no warranty as to the completeness, reliability, or availability of any listing, and is not responsible for the products, services, or conduct of any listed organization.
8. Changes to These Terms
CSFP may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the directory or maintenance of an active listing constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
