Air Pruned Raised Beds for Tree Seedling Production
September 26 @ 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm EDT

Join the Cornell Small Farms Program for a hands-on workshop introducing Air Pruned Raised Beds (APRBs) from construction to implementation. This session will cover APRB design, build, materials, growing media, seed sourcing and storage, and how to implement tree propagation as an enterprise for your farm. This growing technique is scalable, modular, and can be done in urban and rural settings with modest start up and input costs.
The first 20 registrants will be afforded the option to take an air pruned raised bed home. Dimention considerations for transport are 2′ wide x 4′ long x 3′ tall.
Participation is limited, so register now!
Hosted by Cornell Small Farms Program’s Farm Ops and Agroforestry projects.
See registration page for full information/updates. We are now using a new registration platform, which is shared with Cornell Cooperative Extension, and will make it easier for you to complete registration forms and scholarship applications moving forward. You will be prompted to login (or create a login), and your answers will be saved to make future registrations more seamless. Thank you for your patience as we work through this new system together, we look forward to seeing you at our events!
